What happens when I call 0800 Go Junk?

Our friendly staff will answer any questions you have about 0800 Go Junk’s service.  We will ask you some simple questions about the junk you want removed and give you a no obligation estimate of cost.  Should you wish to proceed we will then arrange a suitable time to visit you at your home or workplace. Our professional staff will arrive in their 0800 Go Junk uniforms and load your items in their truck.

What kinds of Junk do you remove?

You name it 0800 Go Junk will remove it!  We will take anything you no longer want - from old furniture, toys, whiteware, mattresses old TVs, and household clutter to office items, books, outdoor equipment, and garden waste - even tyres, bricks, broken concrete, and a whole lot more.

If it's unwanted, 0800 Go Junk will take it away.

What do you do with the junk you remove?

We sort the items and determine the best way to dispose of them.  Where possible, items are donated or recycled.  Other items such as paper, plastic and tin are fully recycled.  We are very conscious of our environment we will only use the landfill as a last resort. 

What locations do you cover?

0800 Go Junk service is available Wellington wide - Wellington Central, Hutt Valley, Porirua and Kapiti Coast.

What times are you available to collect my junk?

Our usual business hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.  We can however be available outside these hours for special jobs such as accessing offices after hours or urgent jobs.  Please call us to discuss. 

Do I need to wait around all day for the truck to arrive?

No, we will arrange a time that suits you.

How do I know what the cost will be?

When you contact us either by calling 0800 Go Junk or by email we will ask you some simple questions about the junk you want removed.  We will then give you an estimate of cost.  Our charges are based on the amount of junk that is to be removed.  We charge a minimum fee for a single item of $50 right up to a full truck load of 8m3 for $300.  You only pay for the room in the truck your junk takes up.    

What forms of payment do you take?

For your convenience 0800 Go Junk accepts cash and eftpos or internet banking at the completion of the job.  Accounts are available for commercial clients.

Are you insured?

Yes we are fully licensed and insured.
